Upcoming Kennington

hotspot of development

Situated just South of the river, Kennington is a multi-cultural and vibrant hub, achingly close to central London, South Bank, Westminster & The Oval cricket ground.

Kennington is a high growth area with an established community of MPs and Civil Servants and sizeable LGBT community.

The area is gentrifying quickly with billions invested regenerating Elephant & Castle 9 mins walk to the East, Waterloo Station, Nine Elms, Battersea and the Northern Line extension.

The area is underserved by garden centres and cafes with few truly servicing London’s exploding ‘foodie’ scene and vegan / vegetarian trends.

The site's courtyard is considered a 'jewel' by the local community, is quiet, relaxed and adjacent to a buddhist centre.  So if calm and positive energy is your thing, ambience is assured.

Now is the time to realise the location’s utterly unique potential and provide the local community something many travel outside the area for.

Plants and Coffees

I'm impressed by the vision for the new cafe at Jamyang London. I always thought the space had tremendous potential. Inviting outside professional expertise to realise the potential will be beneficial financially to help support Jamyang but it will also help bring positive energy into the community.  The cafe is an important gateway to welcome people to the community - this vision could help realise that potential.

I wish Jamyang London every success with it.
